We were looking for a caravan and visited lochgelly were greeted by the owner Stewart and his son Stewart jnr they were so helpful friendly and professional we were encouraged to take our own time and have a good look at all the stock (no pressure selling) also giving the right advice we found the the best caravan for us and bought it. Stewart threw everything into the deal awning water barrels hook up cable . the team made the whole experience very simplistic and worth while i would advise anyone looking for a caravan to go and deal with lochgelly caravans thanks guys very pleased
After meeting Stewart he said to have a look around the caravans, it was great that they were all open so you could look at your leisure. No pressure at all to buy. Very friendly and easy to deal with. The caravan that we chose was in immaculate condition and we love it. Overall we think that we got a good deal and can’t wait to get away in the caravan. We decided we were going to purchase a caravan to put on our land whilst we renovated an old croft that we recently bought. We had no idea what we were looking for so made an appointment with Stewart. Met Stewart and straight away felt at ease. He left us to it to have a look around with no pressure at all. We decided we liked the layout of one and agreed a good price with him. As we didn’t have a tow bar on our car Stewart agreed to deliver the caravan to us up on the Isle of Skye! Amazing customer service from him even though he had to travel all the way back down to Newcastle as he was going on holiday that day! The caravan is ideal for what we need and Stewart also agreed to buy it back off us when we’re finished with it! Another trip to Skye for him! It was very easy to arrange an appointment to view caravans I had seen online. Flexible with time to fit around our work commitments. We were able to look around with no pressure. Once the decision was made, seamless transaction with delivery to our home at a time to suit us. Great communication throughout. Would highly recommend for either a first van purchase or an upgrade.

I bought my caravan from Stewart he gave us the time we needed to look around without pressure, we found the most brilliant and clean well presented cared for Bailey Pageant gave us a very fair price for our trade in and sorted a couple of things on the one we bought. My wife and I had a good experience buying a 7-yr-old caravan from Lochgelly. There was a wide choice of used caravans of varying ages, prices and designs, and we were simply allowed all the time we wished (more than half a day) to wander around on our own and inspect them. The staff checked in with us now and again, but were basically busy with other tasks and happy to let us think things through on our own, which mostly suited us. This is not a slick, “high-end” dealership offering warranties and finance deals, and I believe that as a result the prices are probably lower than one would find elsewhere. Because we are new to caravanning and absolutely non-experts, after putting down a modest deposit, we got a local third-party company to do a “pre-sale inspection” for £150 the following week. Lochgelly were completely happy to accommodate that, and our caravan checked out as very good. The owner (Stewart) then delivered our caravan to our quite awkward rural pitch 50 miles from his yard, reversing up a long driveway and over two bridges and helping to set up and level the van on our new pitch. This excellent service was included in the already competitive price. Lovely folk, great service, really can’t fault them.

We brought our caravan on the blind from Stewart at Lochgelly Caravans and had it delivered as well. The caravan is wonderful, just what we needed for living in while doing up an old farmhouse. Stewart threw in a water barrel, waste barrel, electric cable and hitch cover in the deal. Nice surprise. Delivery was top notch from the driver and his co pilot, we couldn’t ask for more. We recently visited Lochgelly Caravans as we wanted to purchase a two-berth motorhome and use our campervan as part exchange. We called to arrange a visit and on arrival we were met by Stuart. He said that we should take our time and look over the motorhomes which were on the site and if there was any we liked to let him know and he was sure that we could come to an agreement so that a deal could be made. We really liked the Bailey Approach autograph 625 which was in immaculate condition and we came to an agreement to purchase the motorhome. This was made all the easier by Stuart’s helpful and cheery disposition. Thanks for all your help.
We travelled to Lochgelly caravans after seeing a caravan advertised on Facebook.
We arrived and Stewart left us to view the caravan at our leisure. We had no pressure to buy and given options for our own caravan which we wanted to trade in against the one we were viewing. We had a very positive experience and found Stewart to be a very honest and helpful guy and would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone thinking about buying.
We made a deal that suited both parties and the amount of extras that were included with the new van was amazing, he also delivered and took our old van away as part of the deal.

After a break of 18 years without a caravan family all grown, After doing our research we decided on Lochgelly Caravan Sales.
We were not disappointed met by Stewart a very friendly young man all caravans were open we looked in lots, Stewart gave us plenty of time to decide no hard sell here as in other dealers.
We choose our caravan and came back a few days later to collect Stewart added lots of extras in which other caravan dealers don’t.
Also the price we paid was far lower than other dealers, all in a great service.

We bought a used caravan from Lochgelly Caravans after seeing it advertised on their website. It was described accurately which was a relief as we travelled a fair distance to view it. We were left alone to look around the ‘van ourselves but someone was on hand if we had questions. The premises we visited in Lochgelly is not the most fancy or high tech but they had a fair few different models to look around. We decided to buy the one we had went to view. They were easy to deal with, and took our old caravan as a part exchange. The whole process was a no frills trouble free experience, and we are quite happy with the deal we got. I can’t comment on the easy Ness of buying from them using finance as we paid cash. When I went to collect it, the caravan was out and ready to go. Again, no frills or pageantry. Just paid the balance, had a quick look around it again, hitched up and away. We will no doubt keep the caravan for a good few years but it will be my first post of call if or when we change it. Highly recommend this place.
My experience was very positive, I had a no nonsense chat with Stuart who explained the reasoning for the offer and once we agreed on a figure the exchange went quickly and smoothly with money deposited in my account instantly.
Went up to Lochgelly to view a certain caravan and although that one wasn’t for us, Stewart (the dad) let us wander around at our own free will viewing almost every van inside and out for around 3 hours with no pressure from him to buy anything or and hard sell. We finally chose a new tourer and went to find Stewart who was very kind and friendly and we sorted out the deal to include our old tourer as a trade in. We paid a deposit and we picked our new tourer up on the Wednesday afternoon where we met Stewart (the son) who was also very friendly and helpful, we paid our balance and drove off with our new tourer to set up and make more lifetime memories. Thank you to both Stewart’s we can’t recommend you enough for everything from friendly welcome to ease of viewing and sale. If we ever need a new caravan or someone asks where to buy we will point them your way .
Great service, arranged to see the van and was able to spend as long as we wanted looking over it. Picked up couple of weeks later, sitting out ready to hitch up.

We met Stuart at his Lochore yard and he was more than happy to let us wander around checking out any caravan we wanted at our Lesuire while he sat in his car. We then went down to his Lochgelly yard and did the same. We couldn’t make up our minds but narrowed it down to three. We returned a week later and made our decision after thoroughly checking out the van we liked. He even helped us change the battery so we could check out the electrics. After a chat we agreed a price and shook hands. There was absolutely no pressure. We have used the caravan a couple of times now and it’s great. I would certainly deal with Stuart again. Nothing was too much and he was so easy to deal with.
Can’t praise Lochgelly caravans and in particular Stewart for the brilliant experience and service he gave us on our recent caravan purchase. The no pressure viewing was great and Stewart was on hand when needed for advice. Great choice of caravans and our purchase was made very easy. The thing that really stood out was Stewart delivered our new caravan direct to our seasonal pitch in the borders and picked up our old van as a trade in, he kept us fully informed on the day of any traffic delays etc which was a big help. Second time buying a caravan from Stewart first one was fantastic. Decide I wanted bigger more modern. Strongly recommend buying from this guy. He collected one I had as trade in. Dropped off and set new one up. Price was AMAZING caravan is amazing. Even let me pick new steps and other things. All in all, he takes pride in looking after his customers.
Traded in my old caravan for newer lightweight model service from Stewart was brilliant couldn’t fault it .I had trouble with bank regarding payment Stewart even delivered the new van and said to let him know when bank cleared payment not many people would do that .we made payment later that evening .Thank you Stewart for all your help highly recommend you so helpful .

phoned dealer to go and view a specific caravan, dealer messaged straight back to say that the caravan i was interested in had just been sold but had other caravans that matched my request, on arrival i was met by the salesman who pointed out the vans he thought would be suitable, told us to have a look and to ask any questions about the caravan, finally decided to buy a Coachman Highlander, transaction was simple and quick, took caravan home the same day, would recommend this company to any one looking to buy a caravan at a competative price,
Was looking for a good quality caravan for getting away in, and found Lochgelly caravans, so travelled through to have a look, as seen a few on website. I would say, don’t set your heart on anything you see online, as it’s more than likely gone.
This happened to me, so had a look round, guys were very helpful, check your budget, and let you know which section to look at.
Went away, to ponder, looked online again… (I know)… went back out, and the one I seen online was not available, so had another look around, no pressure from the guys, your free just to look around. All vans are open, so take ypur time.
Found one I liked, asked regards details, as I needed it delivered.
Not a problem, was delivered the next day, on time, all set up, gas bottle, electric cable etc included.
Because I had an impending app to get to, I never asked regards how things worked, but quick text, received a call explaining things. So do ask upon delivery if your a newbie like me.

Great choice of caravans. Sales staff on hand to answer any questions but we don’t feel bombarded and pushed to buy anything. Our caravan didn’t have an awning and when they delivered to us they had very kindly put one in for us free of charge. Nothing was too much for them, they delivered to our home address when they said they would and parked the caravan on our driveway. Would definitely use them again and recommend to friends.
I bought a motorhome from Lochgelly Caravans on Sunday.
I travelled up with my wife and children on the train from Newcastle, the East coast scenery is beautiful and the kids loved the journey.
The yard is only a 5 minute walk from Lochgelly station and the train is direct from Edinburgh Waverley.
The guys were fantastic to deal with, no pressure whatsoever and very professional throughout the whole process.
